Coat your skin with a bronze hue and become the focal point of a chocolate seductive taste that shines under the sun. This is a must-do beauty tanning ritual for all the trendy men and women every summer, and the black beauty is stunning.
Fashion Trend

In the 1920′s, Coco Chanel was traveling on a yacht and got a bronze tan, which immediately caused a trend in the fashion world and was the origin of the modern tanning fad. The Victorian era had just ended, and young people were free from the constraints of the quirky Charleston dance. Tanning, like the novelty of flashy skirts, short curly hair and cars, seemed to be a symbol of the freedom of the era. With too much sun exposure comes sunburn, the so-called “sunburn”. The earliest origin of tanning is just like its name “sun tanning” – beauty tanning. It appeared in the West in the middle of the last century and represented a tanning culture for Europeans and Americans – enjoying the sun. Tanning and vacation are directly linked to each other, and vacation is inseparable from the sunny beach. Tanning has now become almost a status symbol. People with bronze skin often go to sunny, expensive and exclusive resorts to get a tan, so “tanning” is one of the best business cards to show your identity.
Historical Influence

In the late 19th century, the popularity of tanning also led to a revival of sun worship and the nude movement. The nude movement originated in ancient Greece, where the ancient Greeks considered the human body to be the most beautiful thing in nature, and they were nude in sports and festivals, and used various forms of art to express and celebrate the human nude body. The ancient Babylonians, Assyrians and Romans all practiced nudism in the form of beauty and blackness.
After a silent medieval period, the popularity of American nudity in the 20th century also led to the development of the nude movement. The modern nudist movement began in Germany, where after the war people valued the beauty of life and nature more, so the nudist movement received many responses. The nude movement was not only a quest for a healthy and beautiful body, a celebration of fresh air and sunlight, but also a rebellion against the rigid morality of late 19th century European society.
In 1900, Health and Efficiency magazine, the longest running nudist publication in Britain, was published. Originally titled Vitality – A Magazine on Natural Culture, the magazine had a strong racist streak that did not disappear until the end of the Second World War. With the two World Wars, the nude movement spread widely to other European countries as well as to the United States.

Modern Development

Initially aimed at getting darker, it developed into modern times before tanning became a fashion.
In July 1927, the cover of British Vogue magazine first featured devices used for tanning, marking the beginning of tanning’s rise to the forefront of the fashion world. another article in August Vogue further described how “people are obtaining bronze skin by performing tanning daily, which has become part of everyday life.”
Another article in the June 1928 issue of Vogue wrote, “No woman full of intelligence and seeking perfection who wishes to be successful in the forefront of society and popular fashion will neglect tanning.” It envisioned the future as a “new world of beautiful tans and healthy bodies”.
Despite the attention of the fashion world, at this time, bronze skin is still not only an aesthetic criterion, but the concept of health that follows is the trend, and bronze skin is only the expression of a new social trend. This concept of health was the same as that advocated by Dr. Kenog forty years ago. Under this trend, tanning gradually became socially acceptable. Before Hitler came to power in 1933, Germany already had measures related to the opening of tanning to the public, and Hitler banned nude sports. Britain also has a few public places can be legally tanned, even partial nudity, there are also some designated beaches can be carried out sun therapy method. Perhaps this regulation is far from “open” now, because it was, after all, in the 1930s, when wearing a swimsuit on the beach to enjoy the sun was strictly prohibited. Thus, in the decades that followed, tanning was more of a struggle than a fad being pushed, and in 1928, a tanning supporter called on workers in dark, unlit workplaces to fight for access to sunlight, suggesting that all factories and offices should have sunlamps.
George Lansbury, a Westminster MP and leader of the British Labour Party, was also a supporter of tanning, telling the Daily Beast: “In Germany, young people are able to grow up healthy and strong because, among other things, they are tanning. I want young people in the British Empire to do the same thing,” and it was he who led to the establishment of the Hyde Park Baths, the first adult tanning place in London open to the public.
When the hot summer days come, we find beaches, while groups of people lie generously in the sun and enjoy sunbathing. For sexy women, tanning is more appealing than whitening! Join the “dark side” this summer.
Beauty principle

According to the wavelength of sunlight, there are 3 kinds of rays available to exercise the body: infrared rays with a wavelength of 760 millimeters or more, visible rays with a wavelength of 400 to 760 millimeters, and ultraviolet rays with a wavelength of 180 to 400 millimeters. The above three types of rays have different effects on the human body.
Sunlight has infrared rays that are invisible to the naked eye and have a warming effect, and there are ultraviolet rays and visible rays that have a chemical effect. Ultraviolet light can turn 7-dehydrosteroids in the skin into vitamin D, which can improve calcium and phosphorus metabolism, prevent rickets and osteomalacia, promote calcification of various tuberculosis foci, healing after fracture reset and prevent loose teeth.
Infrared light can penetrate through the epidermis to reach the deep tissue, so that the irradiated part of the tissue temperature increases, blood vessels expand, blood flow accelerates, and blood circulation improves; if irradiated more strongly for a long time, it can make the temperature of the whole body rise.
The visible light in sunlight, mainly through vision and skin, has an uplifting effect on people’s emotions and can make people feel good.
Ultraviolet light is the strongest spectrum of sunlight for human body, which can strengthen blood and lymph circulation and promote the process of material metabolism; it can make the ergosterol in the skin turn into vitamin D, regulate calcium and phosphorus metabolism, and promote normal bone development. However, a large amount of UV radiation can cause skin erythema, skin cell protein decomposition and denaturation, releasing histamine-like substances into the blood, stimulating the hematopoietic system, increasing red and white blood cells and platelets, and making phagocytes more active. Repeated exposure to sunlight transforms melaninogen in the skin into melanin, giving the skin a uniform, healthy tan. Melanin, in turn, absorbs more of the sun’s radiation and turns it into heat, stimulating sweat gland secretion. Sunlight is also a natural disinfectant, and various microorganisms quickly lose their vitality under UV light.
Method classification

There are two main methods of tanning: natural (sun tanning) and artificial (sunless tanning). The natural one is the sun bath.
The artificial ones are divided into tanning beds and artificial tanning. Tanning bed is based on the principle of sunlight by artificial ultraviolet ray to imitate the sun’s ultraviolet radiation. The main reason for its creation is that solar UV rays are medically proven to cause skin cancer. Artificial UV rays are filtered to remove harmful rays and are much healthier than direct solar UV rays. Artificial tanning is achieved by using artificial tanning creams or bronzing imitation tanning products.
Tanning Tools
Tanning Tool 1: Bronzing Lotion
Just like the foundations that women use to whiten their skin, men have “foundations” that are specifically for tanning, but in the form of lotions that are more suitable for men with oily skin.
The actual blackened lotion contains a blackened ingredient that will have a blackened effect after application, but because it is a lotion, you only need to squeeze a little in the palm of your hand, rub it out and apply it evenly on your face. It is also easy to apply from the inside out and from the bottom up like a skin care lotion, for even coverage and absorption. Another advantage of the lotion texture is that it is not waterproof, sweat-proof, and not highly adherent, and can be washed off with a cleanser, eliminating the need for a man to reject the makeup removal step.
Tanning Tools II: Bronzing Concealer
If your skin base is not particularly good, such as dark circles, large pores, uneven skin tone, after applying lotion, it is also recommended that you use a beauty tanning concealer.
Tanning concealer also has tanning ingredients that enhance the tanning effect and even out skin tone. Apply the concealer to the corners of the eyes, the middle of the eye bags and the end of the eyes, and then gently push it out with your fingertips to even out. You can also use it on the T-zone and forehead area, where oiliness is strong, to cover up large pores and to solve the problem of uneven skin tone due to thick keratin.
The third tool of tanning: bronze matte powder
The man’s beauty black base makeup should also be done thoroughly, how can not have to set the makeup “loose powder”. This bronze matte powder design is very special, as long as the brush head down, lightly shake two, the bottle of beauty black powder will be attached to the brush head. When used alone, sweep it over the face and neck area to achieve a healthy color with a matte shade.
If used after lotion, it balances the greasiness of the previous lotion and concealer for a fresh and natural tanning finish. Don’t neglect the color bridging between the neck and the face, and take care of the neck as well when using lotion and loose powder.
Tanning Tools IV: Tanning Spray
After all, tanning makeup can only take care of a limited amount of skin on the face, and it is only temporary and cannot be retained for a long time. If you want to really darken your whole body, in addition to sun and light, you can use another time-saving method – a tanning spray.
Unlike makeup, tanning sprays are semi-permanent tanning products. It contains a tanning factor that acts directly on the skin’s stratum corneum to make the skin really dark at the root. Just spray it evenly on the limbs and other parts of the body, and after a while, the skin will slowly appear healthy wheat skin.
It is a semi-permanent product because although it makes the skin really dark, it only works on the stratum corneum, and with the metabolic cycle of the stratum corneum, it is still able to return to white after one to two weeks. It is a two-pronged choice for long-lasting but able to restore the original skin tone.
Protective measures

There are several types of sunscreen creams, the one-time effect type has a higher concentration of DHA and is more expensive, with a higher failure rate. If the whole body is not exfoliated well beforehand, the skin will absorb DHA unevenly, resulting in a dark area in the east and a dark area in the west. If you do not exfoliate your entire body beforehand, the DHA will be absorbed unevenly, resulting in darker areas. There are also added pigment imitation tanning lotion, which is equal to imitation tanning lotion and surface bronzing lotion two in one, apply it as instant tanning, easy to identify the scope of rubbing, but wipe to or will be decolorized, the real DHA ingredients underneath to slowly take effect. In addition to the smell and the risk of uneven color, there is also the risk of orange color, if the formula pH is acidic, DHA will develop into an orange tone. Many of the imitation sunscreen on the market are prone to turn orange, so be careful when buying. In addition, imitation sunscreen and sunscreen are completely different things, after using the sunscreen must be rubbed again to protect against UV rays, and do not buy a sunscreen factor imitation sunscreen, not only poor tanning effect, sun protection is not safe.
Most of the imitation tanning lotions contain dihydroxyacetone phosphate (DHA), a chemical processed from sugar cane. 1920s DHA was found to be an effective temporary tanning ingredient and has been used ever since. It reacts with a type of keratin to produce a brown color on the surface of the skin. Erythrulose, a ketone sugar, is used in conjunction with DHA to prevent uneven coloration and to create a darker, more even and natural-looking tan. Because the top layer of skin is continuously replaced, artificial tanning only lasts for a week, but its biggest benefit over the other two methods is that it is absolutely safe. This is why artificial tanning is gaining popularity, with statistics showing that one bottle of St Tropez is sold every ten seconds worldwide. Because DHA as a substance can be used in almost any kind of make-up, and manufacturers are trying to diversify their products as much as possible in order to maximize their profits, there is a wide range of artificial tanning products. There are a wide range of products available, from those specifically for the face to those for the whole body.
Ways of tanning

1) UV light can become darker, people lying or standing in a machine with an air circulation system, using UV lamps, so that the purpose can be achieved very quickly, basically leaving no dead space.
2) Going to the hospital for melanin transplantation is a fast way.
3) Research has proven that eating foods rich in Moet and rare elements of zinc, copper and iron can have a major impact on skin darkening.

Note

Tanning

①Serious heart disease, tuberculosis, fever and hemorrhagic quality are prohibited;
②If there is nausea, dizziness, fever and other reactions in the irradiation, should be immediately discontinued, rest in the shade; later irradiation should be appropriately reduced;
